♦ Gekkou Karuta Wig Review (Taobao Shop)♦

    Hello everyone!~~

Holiday season is kicking in which means more work where I am. ; o ; I just got my new Christmas schedule and I'll be working even more than from the norm.. ; m ; But once this season is over I shall be moving into a semi bigger place (with other roommates n.n;;) so I will be a tad busy this upcoming month. ; o ;  Anyways, I recently ordered a wig through Gekkou's Taobao shop ( since I by a lot of stuff from Taobao ; w ;) and that's what my review shall be on today!~ The wig I purchased is a Karuta Roromiya wig!~ ♥ I bought this wig because she's such a cutie that I plan to cosplay her ; v ; ( That and her hair is really cute!!). I decided to be really cheap on buy it on Taobao since I really didn't want to spend over $40 for it on eBay ; m ;. For those who don't use Taobao: Spreepicky sells a Karuta wig for a reasonable price I believe. (Found this out after purchasing my wig).

This is my first time ever purchasing a Gekkou brand wig. I've always liked how soft and smooth their wigs look in photos too! * A * But not only does Gekkou sell wigs but they also sell Cosplays as well! Though, I've never bought any of their cosplay costumes due to reading a posting from cosplay.com which can be read here ( I believe they're referring to the US site but still can never be too careful) . The Taobao agent I used is called Panlishop ( which I will be writing a review on a upcoming haul soon!~). The delivery time from the agent was about 3 weeks (China Post).

When I got my package I couldn't wait to tear it open. ; v ; Upon opening my packages I got my small jewelry horde ( which will also be another review coming up!) and my Karuta wig !~~ It was packaged nicely and came with the Gekkou tags!~

After opening up the packaging to my wig I felt how soft the fibers actually were!~(✪㉨✪) The bangs aren't super long so all they need is a slight trim. My only problem I had at first were the tails as one was curled but the other looked as though it belonged on a Madoka wig. (´ヘ｀;) But turns out with the right combing and fluffing it looked right !~ 

Another great thing about this wig is that it's super comfy and looks cute with anything. (◡‿◡✿) I wear it quite often.(◡‿◡✿)

❀Wig-Supplier Review❀

  Hello again dearies!~
I always get asked where I purchase my wigs so I'm going to write reviews about them as well.~❤ I'm writing about this particular wig first because so many people ask about this one the most: my pink Luka wig. I bought this wig last year from Wig-Supplier(.com) for my Luka Just be Friends cosplay. Now during this time the site really didn't have much for reviews, to be honest it was rare to see a review on any of their products compared to now. At first I was quite iffy on buy from the site due to the lack of reviews but I decided to take a chance because the wig was much cheaper on there than on eBay (where I get most of my wigs.).ಥ⌣ಥ

I paid around $22 for the wig (with shipping included!~).(✪㉨✪) The delivery time was amazing I got my wig very fast and I was quite pleased with it ≖‿≖ It was super soft and thick (✪㉨✪)

☆Princess Pinky Twilight Brown Lens Review☆

Hello circle lens lovers!~ ♥
Today I'm writing a review (as well as other numerous reviews! ╯︵╰, ) about the popular Princess Pinky Twilight Brown lens. I stumbled upon these lens while looking for gold-ish colored circle lenses for my Popstar Ahri cosplay I came across a thread linked to Cosplay (.com) about these remarkable brown contacts that make even the darkest of eyes a lovely gold color as I continued my search I heard nothing but remarkable things about these lenses so I was very interested in buying them. I also came across two others which were Fairy Cherry Brown and Berry Dolly Brown. After seeing all the lovely reviews about these lenses I decided to buy them!(^▽^)

I purchased these lenses from PinkyParadise(.com) which sells Anti-Geo fakes. c: I normally buy my contacts from KoreaBigEyes(.com) due to them being cheaper and having slightly better deals compared to other sites but seeing how they didn't have the brand I was looking for I had to make due with paying more. The contacts had cost me $28.90 and shipping had cost me $6, so in total I had paid $34.90 for a pair of lenses! (✖╭╮✖)That's the most I've ever paid for circle lenses! I thought maybe it would be worth the money especially when I got them.

When I received my contacts I was super excited! When I opened my package there my contacts were as well as a cute animal lens case!~ I was so happy about my investment!....Until I tried to put the contacts in. They were very difficult to get it which was a huge surprise seeing that I normally have no problem putting circle lenses in my eye. When I finally got them in they were very uncomfortable and burned the heck out of my eyes for a very long time (つд｀) not only that but they moved around in my eyes as I wore them. ⇀‸↼‶ All in all I felt like I wasted my money and should have gotten one of the other brands. I'm sorry for the lack of photos but I was in so much pain as well as disappointment that I didn't even want to take a photo!

Pros:
✔ Super bright for dark eyes
✔ Shipping was pretty fast

Cons:
✘ Burns the your eyes like chestnuts on an open fire!
✘ Moves around in your eyes as you blink
✘ The cost of them was crazy!

★Artistic Sprouts Review~★

Hello there all you cosplayers!!!~❤
I'm here to write about a cosplay store on eBay called Artistic Sprouts. I love cosplaying alot! I try to make my costumes with every oppurtunity I get but sometimes, which may happen to a few cosplayers, problems come up such as making it before the deadline or your budget for materials manage to sky rocket to an impossible price due to how accurate you really want your costume to be! Well whether you make your cosplays or not Artistic Sprouts is an amazing store even though they tend to be quite expensive ( Some costumes range from $99- almost $250 depending on the add on for your costume). I remember being super determined to do an Append Miku but for during my search for the materials I noticed that my cost was going to be well over $300! T_T While searching on eBay for my Append Miku wig (Append ver. has a different color tone) I found Artistic Sprouts Append costume as soon as I saw photos I fell in love with this costume but seeing as how determined I was to make the costume myself I decided to watch the item instead.

 During my time of raising my Miku fund I was working as a server at Convention Center downtown from where I lived. I made good money but with horrible hours, due to favoritism at my work, within a month I had made about $200 off of just 2 paychecks. Another month went by and my hours kept getting cut shorter and shorter because of the holidays causing less events being held, favoritism along with drama was annoying me so I ended up leaving. my last paycheck was $50! After the holidays I decided to buy off of Artistic Sprouts, I was super skeptical on buying from them I was worried about getting something half assed made. But I decided to take a chance. I looked at the beautiful costume seeing that sizing was an issue with my body type I messaged the owner asking about custom sizing. The owner who replied was very kind and helpful and after getting the information I wanted I chose to buy the costume so with my $250 along with my $100 eBay gift Certificate that I got from doing an internship there. The whole total was $323  (Costume= $118, shipping= $39, custom size price= $28, Headset=$30, Waist pieces= $80, Anklet=$28 ) The shipping was fast and when I opened my package I was in love! ❤ My costume looked exactly like the photos in their store! (sorry better photos coming soon ; n ; ) *Note I oredered this during January 2013*
